I'm torn. I fell hard for #23 ages ago and wanted her for a sister for Kumi. Now we've probably all heard the rumors about Nicki's look. I can only afford one more doll. It sounds like Nicki may look a lot like 23 but with longer curly hair. So here is the question. A couple of people have done glowing reviews of 26 and her hair. The odds are, however, that Nicki, if I choose her will not just get a finger combing but brushing, potentially lots of it the way the girls in my life are.
How well does the curly hair stand up to the doll brush and pick? Emma and Elle are both wonderfully careful, but if it will tangle easily, I'm not sure its for us. Or would it be sacreligious to straighten her hair out and do it in a long gentle wave (hot water treatment)? Will the hair even stand up to it and be soft?
Help please?

I usually only finger-comb my 26's hair. It actually works better with the brush than the pick in my opinion because the pick separates the ringlets.

Are you interested in reviews of Marisol's hair curls too?
Our Marisol has had her hair brushed with the AG wire brush and with the pick too. I'm very gentle with her hair and so is my daughter--I think she's a bit intimidated by it to be honest. But Mari's curls seem to be holding up quite nicely with using a misting bottle and my fingers to "re-curl" the hair post-brushing.
I also tend to put Marisol's hair in either braids, pigtails or ponytails if we are taking her for an outdoor adventure to protect her hair a bit.
HopeThisHelps and that it was information you were looking for!
